Filters are primarily used to prevent dust entering spaces where it is not wanted. They are an integral part of your air conditioning, heating or ventilation system and can effect the operating efficiency of the units or cause them to breakdown.

Air Conditioning Filters
Cleaning or replacing the filters in your air conditioning system is one of the most important aspects of keeping the unit servicable.
Clogged and dirty air filters reduce the amount of air flowing through the system and can significantly diminish the efficiency and lifespan of the units. With the normal airflow obstructed by a build up of dust and dirt, air that bypasses the filter could carry the dirt into the evaporator coil and degrade the coil's heat-absorbing capacity and could potentially cause irrepairable damage to the coil.
Types of Filters
Panel Filters
There are a variety of panel filters each suited to specific uses:
Pleated Panel Filters - high efficiency filters with an extended surface area and a longer life. Suitable for hospitals, hotels, offices, food production, pre-filtration
Glass Fibre Panel Filters - for heating and ventilation applications and are constructed of a continuous filament glass fibre. Also suitable as a pre-filter for air handling systems in critical areas
Synthetic Media Panel Filters - non-fragmenting and self-extinguishing. They are ideal for use in areas such as food production where glass fibre panels are not suitable
Bag Filters
Constructed from a thermally bonded, non-toxic synthetic fibre. This filters have a low resistance to air and a high dust holding capacity. Recommended for sensitive indoor areas such as computer rooms, hospitals or in the food production industry.
Washable Filters
Washable filters are used in air conditioning and ventilation systems and come supplied with certain units. They are easily cleaned and replaced in the unit and offer a long term cost saving since they do not have to be replaced at each service.
Disposable Filter Media
We can supply a range of disposable media pads, to any size or depth required.
